The Frank Calculator

The Frank Calculator is a simple tool that allows you to compare stocks based on there dividend yields. By including the effects of franking credits this calculator can provide a more inform perspective when comparing stocks.

The ultimate goal of the tool is to help improve financial literacy. Franking credits although is not necessarily the main factor for building an investment thesis. However, similar to negative gearing is highly misunderstood.

The Frank Discussion

The Frank Discussion is a monthly newsletter that seeks to provide a honest, critical and insightful point of view on Australia's economy and financial markets.

The publication breaks down into three components. In the opening section The Frank Discussion will look at one topic that has generally been of relevance in the past month and try to go against the grain of mainstream opinion and provide interesting insights.

The second section will be review on a popular fund manager. The goal will be to generally compare them to there peers and to provide insights into there process and role in an investor portfolio.

The newsletter will finish with technical information relating to superannuation and the mechanics behind investing. we will look to translate technical jargon into plain English with the utilization of examples, scenarios and visuals.

My name is Charles Osmond. I am currently in my professional year in my families practice Howard Osmond Wealth. I have complete a Bachelor of Business (International Business) at RMIT and Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning at Deakin.
